How do I install the KODAK 605 Photo Printer?

You must have the following items to set up your printer:

• A KODAK PROFESSIONAL EKTATHERM 6800/6850 4R or 6R Print Kit. The print kit is not included with your printer and must be purchased separately. Visit Ordering Information for catalog numbers.
• The following items that were packaged with your printer:
  1. Trim tray.
  2. Print catcher.
  3. Power cable.
     CAUTION: The printer is shipped with several power cables. Be sure to use the correct power cable for your country.
  4. USB cable.
  5. Paper flange with gear (green).
  6. Paper flange without gear (black).
  7. User's Guide and Software CD.

To set up your printer:

1. Remove the packing material.
2. Install the trim tray.
3. Install the print catcher.
4. Install the printer driver.
5. Connect the correct power cable for your country.
6. Connect the USB cable.
7. Load the ribbon.
8. Turn on the printer.
9. Load the paper.
10. Make a test print.
